I have attended the following
This venue is good, no pillars in the way and the stage is elevated. I like how Ronan talks to the crowd, this was the last scheduled show in their Judgement tour. I've seen these guys before back in Sydney, the crowd in London is much bigger. Its good that this is a 'happy' EBM band. Great show, and everyone was dancing.
£42 total = 2 x £18.00 tickets + £6 service fee from ticketweb.
This venus was packed and it was difficult to get a good view of her. We settled at the very top floor. She's still got it, and is still dressing up and having fun. Only one annoying Moloko song :) I've seen her before back in Sydney
£62.40 total = 3 x £18.00 tickets + £8.40 service fee from ticketweb.
We're really enjoying the noob album from De/Vision, and he's a fun act to watch.
Mesh are the headliners here, they are based in UK after all..
£30 total = 2 tickets
The singer is really short. I haven't been following this type of music but it was still good to hear some stuff I used to listen to years ago.
Client supported, they are 3 chicks playing synthpop.
I've seen covenant before back in Sydney a couple of years ago, this time they appeared with Daniel Myer. The smiling funny guy, Clas Nachmanson didn't tour with them this time.
£31.00 total = £14.00 + £1.50 bf per tick + postage. Purchased from eee.
One of the funnier songs I've heard recently is 'Sorry'. Good dance show.
I'm not sure who the support was but they were noisy and batty.
Skinny Puppy used lots of fake blood, he seemed a bit crazy but a great concert regardless.
Paid 2x $21.00 + £2.00 booking fee from seetickets.
Nice venue, must see if we can go upstairs next time
£20 per ticket. I paid £46.50 for 2 tickets from ticketweb
Sunday 2007-07-08, at Electric Ballroom in Camden. £15 + bf. Total was £34.76 for 2 tickets.
£22.40 total for 2 tickets.
£17 + bf
Support was Lou Barlow, playing acoustic. I don't know his music but it seemed ok. He is actually in the band so he came back later on to play bass guitar
I still enjoyed their songs, and I keep forgetting that Dinosaur Jr's vocalist is not solely J Mascis.
Ticketmaster is just annoying. They won't say whether a concert is sold out of not, and they have a habit of releasing extra seats. And what is "VIP THE ENTERTAINMENT CARD ALLOCATION"?
https://www.viptheentertainmentcard.co.uk/ is dead.
Ticketmaster seems to be only seller of concerts at Astoria.
Slow bar service, they have screens and there is an upper level but I have never been up there.
On 2007-07-19 a Becks Pint was £3.50, water £2.00
This is a small club venue, with UV lighting so check your dandruff before you go!
