Vista hacked - time to reinstall

2010-01-28

This is annoying. A Java exploit was via my browser after I visited a website. I've since updated my Java version.

You can tell if you've been affected by checking the Mozilla Firefox install directory. If there are some hs_err_pid*.log files there, it means java has crashed at some point. If the frame it crashed in was com.sun.media.sound.HeadspaceSoundbank.nOpenResource, then it may have run arbitrary code on your computer.
